How do u remove nail varnish on nails without using a nail varnish remover?

ok...this sounds like a weird solution but i've tried it and it works....you'll need the same polish that you used before and toilet paper or tissues. Ok, so repaint your nails and before it dries, wipe it off with the toilet paper or tissues. Both coats will come off.How do u remove nail varnish on nails without using a nail varnish remover?
Some of the answers in this thread are ridiculous. What is wrong with using nail polish remover? Anything else is terrible damaging to the nails and using more nail varnish to take it off is just more expensive and smells just as bad!

Paint a fresh coat (any color- but clear works best) on your nail, let sit for 5-10 seconds and then wipe your nail off with a wet wash cloth (cotton balls works too, and are less messy- but take a little more effort than a wash cloth)

After doing this to each nail, wash and rinse your hands (paying close attention to your nails) in hot soapy water.

Use a nail file (electronic preferably) on the tops of your nails to scrape off any left over polish.
You don't. You must remove polish remover.
Sharp knife - lots of scraping, great care.
use petrol
Pick it off or add a fresh coat then wipe off the wet paint immediately. Not as good as proper remover but ok in an emergency. Oh and I discovered (accidentally) this summer that DEET insect repellant removes nail polish.
Answer

One nail at a time, use a clear nail polish or a light/sheer color and paint over the nail color you want to remove. Then, immediately use a paper towel to wipe off the nail you just painted. Continue until all polish is removed.

Answer

You can try and pick off the nail polish first, and then mix palmolive with water and scrub off remaining polish.

Answer

use peel off nail polish instead.

Answer

Acetone. It's harsh, but does the trick. Nails breath and that's how they grow so women should only put nail hardner (if they have weak nails) just up to the white moon of the nail (the moon is what breaths.) When you want to put nail color on (don't have it on all the time) then you can cover the moon of the nail.

NOTE: ACETONE IS NAIL POLISH REMOVER!

Answer

rubbing alcohol, paint thinner, lacquer thinner, turpentine, kerosene, lighter fluid, mineral spirits most slovents.

ANSWER:

Off insect repellant, or Deep woods Off. It also removes permanent markers off most surfaces.
i dont kno..
Fingernail polish and automotive paint are the same thing. Only difference is nail polish has glycerin added for shelf life.

Normal polish remover is just acetone, a product used in automotive and many other places. The clear you put on your nails is just like auto clearcoat for cars.

Saying that... to remove nail polish w/o chemicals... just look at automotive items. There are hand cleaners out there for auto painters that are non toxic and remove such items from hands. Permetex is one of these makers.

Just a matter of scrubbing your hands as if you were washing them and it will come right off. Since its on your nails, maybe a fingernail brush to help get the corners. Won't dry out your hands or cause them to be rough. Used it for years.

I do auto paint work, and about 10 yrs ago I was looking at starting a nail polish company. Was trying to invent the instant dry polish. But Revlon beat me to the punch so I stuck with just auto paint.

So the next time you get a chip on your car.... nail polish is fine to use no matter how many men scream at you. Actually you are doing more good than they are w/ their store bought touch up paint bottles. I won't even get into how wrong that stuff is.
Electric Sander?

use alcohol it works but just be careful not to use it on ur scrapes or cuts!!!
just chew them all.
Rubbing alcohol works well. Make sure you don't have any small cuts around your fingers though.
sand or chip them, soak in water for hours

all cruel and unusual
