How can dried nail polish be removed from hair, without using nail polish?

Daughter got into nail polish last night. She got polish on sheets, pajamas, and HER HAIR! The first two items are ruined, we'll concede that. How can we get nail polish out without using nail polish remover, which is harsh and will likely damage her hair?How can dried nail polish be removed from hair, without using nail polish?
Warm water and conditner, and lots of it. Leave it in for around 30min, and then get a nit / lice comb, and brush through it. Seeing as the bristles are so close together, there shouldnt be any problems removing it.

get her in the shower and use TONS of conditioner may take a while btu its worth it and wont damage hair
