How to remove Liquid Nail from a ring?

OK, I know, I should've taken it off. But it's done and there is nothing I can do about it. So, how does one go about doing this? It is actually a class ring and it is stuck between the crevices where the lettering is. I tried soaking it in water, not a bit looser. What can I use that won't hurt the ring? It is made by Balfour, if that matters. How to remove Liquid Nail from a ring?
Liquid Nails suggest that you try using Baby Oil to remove their adhesive from your hands, with a little rubbing. It should work with the ring too, without harming it, and you've probably got some in the house. It may take a little work, but this is probably the safest method for the ring itself.

Acetone (often found in nail polish remover) will also break down the glue, but if there is any paint on your ring (black background?), it will strip the paint too. Always be careful when handling acetone, as it is flammable, and WILL bleach any fabric it gets spilled on, including carpet, hehehe.

If liquid nails has hardened, it will take awhile for mineral spirits to remove it. Be patient and it will come. May speed up process if you can scrape it a little to get it going -depending on the ring.
put some minerals spirits on a rag
I'm not sure what Balfour Liquid Nail is. Do you mean Liquid Nails construction adhesive?

The cleanup for Liquid Nails construction adhesive (ICI paints) is mineral spirits according to the technical data sheet. See the link below.

You might be able to use mineral spirits and a toothbrush.

Good luck!
